FOUR SEASONS LANAI
3-DAY GETAWAY
After enduring months of familial heart-ache (3 funerals in 12 months… all in Hawai’i), we decided to reconnect with the Islands that we’ve always called home with a much-needed getaway to Lanai. The Four Seasons Lanai at Manele Bay was exactly what we needed and more. We left feeling warm, rejuvenated and most importantly… we left full of the spirit of aloha.
All Four Seasons experiences are to be remembered, but our time at Four Seasons Lanai will be most cherished because of the utter love and pampering that we experienced from the staff and grounds the entire time. We had big plans to take advantage of the all-day Jeep rentals to go off roading in the unique terrain, book a UTV tour, and to try and squeeze in a horseback ride… but we ended up fully entertained between the beach, pool, spa and restaurants all right in front of us. Also, we can’t forget to mention that we had no regrets about getting some much needed relaxation in the comfort of our amazing technology-packed Garden-Ocean View Room.
Day 1 - ROOM SERVICE - Our flight arrived late, but luckily we checked-in at the Four Seasons Lounge in the HNL airport so we didn’t have to worry about any check-in when we arrive to Lanai (put CC down and got wrist-bands (room keys) all in the lounge at the airport). We landed, were picked up and took directly to our room to start vacationing! That evening we simply took-in and enjoyed the massive room and some late-night room service in our beds!
Day 2 - BEACH DAY & NOBU Lanai - The day started with breakfast on the lanai of our room and took a stroll down to the beach. The FS attendants set us up with two loungers, an umbrella and some ice-cold water right on the sand and we spent nearly the entire day soaking up the sun and dipping into the ocean. Before dinner we were able to watch some live hula and listen to live Hawaiian music. We enjoyed some pre-dinner drinks from the bar at One-Forty and the Sports Bar and then had an amazing dinner outdoors at NOBU Lanai.
Day 3 - SPA, POOL & ONE-FORTY – For our final day we decided to indulge in the resort Spa for a 90-min massage plus scalp treatment. The spa was intimate but very luxurious. Every robe, towel, or blanket that touched our skin was like a heavenly cloud - so much so that I even bought the spa blanket (by Kashwere) and spa robe when I came home! Our treatments were incredible… I think we both said “best massage ever” when we met up in the sauna. After the spa we worked on our tan by the pool, enjoyed some delicious blended cocktails and crudites pool-side from Malibu Farm before heading to dinner at One-Forty American Steak & Hawaiian Seafood.
